2021 - Renewing Our Yoga Practice Everyday

Going on 20+ years ago, my yoga practice started with local teachers.  There had come a time and a place where I wanted to listen more closely to those mind/body/spirit connections. 
I was paying more attention to my health and well being.  I was also drawn to take a further step on this path and took on studying yoga philosophy, ancient scriptures and the methodologies with a seasoned and well-respected yogi/teacher .

Now, for either practicing or teaching the asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath patterns), yoga nidra (yogic sleep) or meditation,  returning to the mat is a new beginning.   

Bringing our intention and focus to yoga every day can provide some additional self-awareness and guidance toward being more grounded and balanced for challenges.  It's about our own self- knowledge, remembering our true nature of being in the world, and enlivening a sense of freedom and limitless opportunities in life.
 
This group practices via Facebook Live on most Saturdays at 8:30 AM.  Just message me on FB if you'd like to be added to our Planting Yoga Group.  

This is a more gentle class with options for different levels of experience, but you should always check with your physician if you're under care for any condition that may not be suitable for yoga.  I'm available to discuss any of this with you.

Welcoming All Levels of Experience

 
It's not necessary to know how to do yoga.  If you're healthy enough to move without pain, there are options available to begin a good practice.   Number one, we start with breathing a smooth inhale/exhale to sync with smooth movements.  Accessing range of motion is different for every one of us.  It's going to take time, but it's also so worth it.
There will be time to rest and assess the effects of breathing and movement and how that adjusts our energy, mood, and spirit.
